  I was very surprised by the quality of my stay, as it was one of the cheaper options in the area but it was beautiful! The location is great with a small wooded area directly maintained by the hotel. A bus stop with a direct line to either the National Militair Museum (which was great if you are in the area) or to Amersfoort Centraal, the train station nearby. The staff was all very helpful and friendly. The buffet breakfast was simple but organized and had good options. The restaurant (lickily I was able to reserve at that time) had a small, compact menu it executed very well. The one small downside was the room for 1 is a bit tiny, but it didn't overall impact my rating, as it was a good price and it was genuinely very clean inside, which is all you can ask for if you're only using the room for sleeping and storing your luggage. Recommend if you are planning a trip around Amersfoort especially, or would like to be out of the cities but without much hassle to go into them.

  Friendly welcome and helpful staff. Decent restaurant too (we arrived late but the nice staff allowed us to make a quick order a few minutes after the kitchen officially closed). There is a secure building for bikes. Room a bit warm.

  Amazing location (next to great spa and beautiful forest), friendly staff, original way of using an old cloister and great breakfast buffet! Rooms are a bit less « outstanding » but nothing to complain about either.

  Summary: Staying here is great as long as you don't want to eat. Great for weight loss. Pros: - the buidlings are beautiful - front desk is very helpful - the rooms are clean - the wifi is good - coffee is good, free and accessible everywhere Cons - You cannot eat here, there is no service at the restaurant, if you ask they always say they cannot feed you without a reservation, despite having a fully staffed kitchen and 100 empty tables - It is also very challenging to order food to the hotel because hardly any restaurants deliver in the area - spent my stay very very hungry

  Great service and beautiful location. Only drawback is that there is no aircon in the rooms. We are just unlucky to be here during a very hot day/night. The meetings rooms are however well ventilated. Breakfast, lunch and diner were all great.
