  For me, the glorious golden years of this sauna were the decade or so after 1995. It was magical. After a few visits since the (initially disappointing) changes, I can say that it does indeed still have its old charm and spirit, if not the heaving crowds of hundreds of horny men of all ages, types, and tastes it used to have. The atmosphere is still sociable and relaxing, and I have always been able to find some frisky playmates. It is always clean, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and the facilities are comfortable. Despite some mistakes in the redecoration, the main spaces are still grand and intimate at the same time - a welcome combination in this age of industrial hardcore sex clubs (which I also enjoy, by the way). I will always be faithful to the Oasis!

  I've been to Oasis several times and have enjoyed it. However, on January 21 2025 I visited, to find significant works underway and a very very limited amount of the sauna in use. I was surprised to have workmen there at the same time as it was open. I have no doubt that the improvements will be worth it - but the business should be closed while it is ongoing. My advice is to wait to visit until the works are finished.

  The place is interesting in many aspects. Quite old but has its own special energy. Big and nice Finnish sauna. Large pool and nice jacuzzi. Indeed, the visitors are mostly 60+ and bear type or tourists like me. I didn't like the changing rooms and the countless stairs.

  Very good sauna in a beautifull setting. It’s a relaxed kind of sauna (read: no GHB vibes, no afterparty vibes, more like a coffee in the bar and a newspaper) . I’m 39 , and that’s a bit younger than the average age , but there is a variety. The staff is just the sweetest, always super friendly. What I also appreciate is that the music in the bar suits this place very well (moloko / sade / massive attack …) The place is always super clean, it’s an old building but it’s been taken care of very well! Keep up the good work!
