  Great first experience at Luca! We got nicely welcome and showed the place. The sauna and ice bath combination was perfect! Also great that there is two different ice bath (the big one is the colder! 🥶) The space is really beautiful, well designed and has everything needed (changing room with lockers, showers, hair dryer, makeup remover… ect)

  Lovely modest sauna. Nice and closed off for you to really switch off from the outside. 2 icebaths of different temperatures (which is perfect as cold dips are not my strongsuit). Oils available for the sauna, water available just outside. The owner was lovely, and you can tell her vision to make the space sacred and for the community. Listened to our suggestions and had some wonderful ideas. Excited to see what happens next! Artwork was also incredible. Great little community spot.

  My friend and I were really excited to check out the new sauna and spa that recently opened in our neighborhood. As newcomers, we saw the event advertised as being for “everyone who lives around the area,” so we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to explore the place and meet some locals. However, what we experienced was anything but welcoming. From the moment we walked in, we were made to feel like outsiders. The staff didn’t seem to acknowledge us, let alone greet us with a smile. They were not only distant but also visibly uncomfortable when we tried to ask questions, especially when it came to understanding the event or any spa-related services. As English speakers and internationals, it felt like we were a burden rather than guests. Communication was frustrating, and we didn’t feel any effort was made to make us feel at ease or welcome. It was especially disappointing considering the event was marketed to new neighbors—people just like us, trying to get a sense of the community. Instead, we felt completely ignored, and it was clear the staff wasn’t ready to accommodate people who didn’t speak the local language fluently or didn’t look like “the right vibe” quoting what one employee stated to us. Sadly, the atmosphere left us feeling completely unwelcome, and it really soured our impression of this new place. We won’t be returning, and we wouldn’t recommend it to others looking for a friendly, inclusive environment. If they truly want to cater to the diverse residents in this neighborhood, they need to make a serious effort to improve their customer service and their treatment of internationals and English speakers.

  I went to Amsterdam for the weekend and a friend of mine carry me to LUCA, the owner was really gentle and explain me everything. Relax in the sauna and cold baths was amazing, for sure if i come back to Amsterdam i will repeat. I recommend it 100%

  This is a fantastic concept, complemented by an amazing team. It's the perfect spot to grab a coffee, get some work done at their long tables, and then enjoy a lunchtime sauna and cold plunge. The hostess truly makes it a special spot.
