First time we here, restaurant is operating in Amsterdam for over nine months now so relatively new. Very nice new and modern interior for this Iranian restaurant from the other I visited in Amsterdam the best. Just one remark for the owner, mind the toilet, this needs to be in harmony whit the interior. Now the food! I find the food we tried average not spectacular compared to other Iranian restaurant but of course no restaurant here has the taste of the original 🇮🇷 taste of iran, so I don’t want to be harsh, (this is true for all other restaurants in Netherlands) can be improved but for me all are somewhat the same in Amsterdam. They have a niece red wine and beer card, not extended but that’s a plus. They don’t have fish on the menu sadly, I think this needed to be available in a good restaurant. But it’s ok! Staff is friendly, specially the owner, a bit more joyful waitress would be nice and an interested chef too. Price is ok. Although the restaurant has a very nice interior at this time we were the only ones on table and that gives a bit of emptiness to the experience. Some flowers or ornaments would be nice to create a bit warmer environment. I understand that the Iranian table experience is completely different than let’s say southern countries.

Absolutely amazing experience at Tehran Restaurant! The food was incredibly authentic and full of rich Persian flavors — from the perfectly grilled kebabs to the aromatic saffron rice and delicious stews. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. You can really taste the quality and love in every dish. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a true taste of Iran in the heart of Amsterdam. I’ll definitely be coming back again!

I had a very disappointing experience at this Persian restaurant. The Ash Reshteh was honestly the worst I’ve ever tried—it was basically just noodles, water, and a few beans, with barely any herbs or flavor. When we shared our feedback, the staff insisted it was “the best in the world,” even though the chef later admitted it had just been reheated from the freezer. It was truly awful. The Kashk-e Bademjan was a bit better in taste, but it was extremely greasy. As for the kebab, it was of noticeably poor quality and didn’t meet expectations at all. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.

Amazing! Visiting Amsterdam and so happy to have stumbled upon this place and enjoy Persian cuisine, which I grew up eating. We ordered the kabob special for 2 and masto-mooseer. All were savory and flavorful. Excellent, friendly service too. Beautifully decorated for Norooz. Don’t miss this place!

As Persian tourists visiting from Canada, it felt so special to enjoy authentic Persian cuisine right in the heart of Amsterdam. The food was delicious and truly reminded us of home. The interior was cozy, and the server was welcoming. Such a comforting and lovely experience. Highly recommend to anyone craving real Persian food!
