  It smells really nice in here, but most of the things I've tried are very bland. There is a lack of spices to every dish I've tried (roti kip/lam, saoto soup, nasi kip). The rotis themselves were fine. The portions are also not very good. When you get rice you get too much rice compared to meat/veg, and I like to get a lot of rice with my food. The vegetables were also very bland and boring. Adding more spices and balancing portions can make this a very good place I think, but for now it's just not there yet (or anymore).

  Best Surinamese food! Generous servings, incredible taste especially for vegetarians! The bachalou fish and the shrimp with beans as well as the lamb were excellent. Recommend the zucchini, chickpeas, eggplant and pumpkin veggie selection. You can also get tap water. Decent seating option with two tables inside and 4 outside, but more of a takeaway place.

  The food is good! Very pleasant place to order and take away. Very busy at times, so make sure you get there before you're hungry. Staff is very friendly

  Good simple food. The portions are not huge but we were full at the end. They bring you a little pot of yellow chilli sauce with your food: be careful, it's really hot. They have a homemade ginger beer that was good (very sweet and a lot of ginger, so only go for it if you like those tastes). They only have a couple of places to sit, but we were there on a Saturday for lunch and we could sit down. You can also take away your order.

  I love this place! Super flavorful, actually spicy (a rarity in NL), perfect portion sizes, and at a great price point. My go-to dish is the chicken on the bone for €9. There are a few tables, but the ambiance is pretty basic, so it's best for take away or a quick bite.
