  Came here in June 2025 for my birthday and needless to say… the whole experience was phenomenal, the staff were such great to attend any need, the atmosphere was lovely and the food was absolutely smashing… thanks for making our first evening and dinner in Amsterdam superb!   I ordered my steak medium, but it was dry and lacked flavor. Side dishes were nice, cocktails as well Service wasn’t excellent, they forgot about our drinks couple of times and arranged our tables near the entrance even though reservation was done in advance and there was plenty of tables when we came

  Visiting Leidse steak club was such an amazing experience. A friend had been telling me about this place, finally experienced it myself; blown away. Filipe was our waiter, he made our experience 10x even better. This is my new spot for sure!

  I recently visited this restaurant and decided to treat myself by ordering their most expensive steak, expecting quality to match the price. Instead, I waited over an hour for my meal to arrive, only to be served a chewy, rubbery, overcooked mess that was downright inedible. For a dish priced that high, I expected something cooked with care and skill—not something that felt like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or forgotten on the grill. The only redeeming quality of the night was the service—the waitstaff were polite, attentive, and genuinely kind. Unfortunately, great service can’t save a meal this poorly executed. I left feeling completely let down and ripped off. I won’t be returning, and I can’t recommend this place to anyone who actually cares about food quality.

  Very, very nice and attentive staff, swiftly trying to give everyone the best & most pleasant service possible. :) We just ordered quick fries, but they were delicious & our extra request to have them packed was welcomed right away, without a problem. We waited quite the right time.
