  On my last full day in St Vincent, I was determined not to go back to Kingstown. Instead, to stay by my hotel on Villa Beach and overdose on the wonders of nature. Watch the magic of the ocean, the clouds changing shape, the sun appearing and disappearing and the slow appearance of the sunset. So therefore, when it was time for lunch (and I generally don’t have breakfast), I decided to also eat by the boardwalk. After conducting extensive homework, I chose The Bungalow. I was there just after they opened at 12 noon. What attracted me to this place was their unique appetizer list. I started off with the Chick Pea Fries. They were thick rectangular pieces, accompanied by a curry aïoli and a mango chutney. I had to wait about 35 minutes to get to my table. Nice texture and flavor. They were awesome. Then I chose to have the curry sliders, essentially curried mutton with mango chutney. That took about 45 minutes to get to my table. By that time, I was restless and hungry. Anyway, the sliders were also super. There were three of them, very nicely, presented both the top and the bottom part of the mini bun were toasted with a little butter on top. However, the last two sliders each had a piece of bone in them…that would be OK, but the second one had a a sharp piece that was like an animal tooth. I’ve actually taken pictures of both and they are posted. I did make the server aware of it. I was kind of lucky because if I bit into it wrong, or swallowed at the wrong time, or forgot to chew, I could’ve really hurt myself.

  The food tastes great, and the staff is pleasant, but the food took over 2 hours to come to us!!! And parts of it were cold. Even the dessert took too long.

  Came here for my grandfather's bday and he really enjoyed the food and the service. The waiter was top notch and very attentive ensuring our needs were met!

  Let me tell you something here. The drinks were awesome, I loved the welcoming feeling, the food was next level. My first time having barracuda and they cooked it well. I plan on coming here again. If you haven't came here yet for food then what are you waiting for. I highly recommend this place for eats.

  I've been sailing down the Antilles the past few weeks and this is by far the best food! I grew up near NYC and was shocked with how good their pizza was. The staff was incredibly friendly. Even though the restaurant was busy, it had a very intimate vibe and I didn't wait long for my food.
