  Super super super fun! Had a great time, only thing is that the ticket stated from 18:00-20:30 but the show ended at 19:30 so really confused why we were charged an extra hour?

  I went to a stand up comedy. It was ok. Maybe I am having a different type of humor. I did not enjoy it so much. A place to have a beer 😎

  DO NOT BUY THE DINNER and COMEDY PACKAGE!!!! Bought the dinner and comedy show package for my partner and myself. The dinner was cancelled last minute (as i now read seems to be a trend with these guys!) We still haven't received a refund in almost 2 months: staff have been unresponsive by email and phone. Went there and was told they would follow up within a week. Never did. Honestly customer service is what makes a business successful. Such a shame, very disappointing behaviour.. The stand up show was also not worth all this hassle. Just FYI the show is also in a cellar, old walls of the Oudegracht, so bring warm clothes if u decide to go..

  In hindsight, I should have skipped this venue. Our group of 13 wanted to do a roast workshop as advertised on their site. They didn’t respond to at least three emails, so I visited the venue and found the owner. I got his personal email address. After one promising interaction, all communication ceased. I sent three more emails to no avail. In the one email I received, there was the owner's phone number. I called him a couple of times and finally managed to make an arrangement. All I had to do was confirm via text. He responded, and the date, time, and participants were all confirmed. We were good to go. This was done two months in advance. To be sure, I contacted him by text a week before the workshop with some questions. No answers. I called him two days later. He picked up, promising to call back. Nothing. Called him the next day, same thing. Called him an hour later and finally got to talk to him. He told me I never confirmed the workshop, which was obviously false. He went on to call a comedian to lead the workshop and promised to call me back. Of course, he never did. I lost all hope but didn’t want to cancel this event for 13 people, so we went ahead on the day the workshop was planned. Standing outside the venue, the door was closed. I called him again—magically, he picked up immediately—and he told me again that I never confirmed the workshop and that he couldn’t get another comedian to lead the workshop. I was angry and made it clear this was unacceptable. Now for the only positive part: he called his staff, and they opened the club. They were friendly and did what they could. We all got a free drink and were able to do the "workshop" inside. Some people had already prepared a roast, so we improvised and had a great time. This positive ending is worth one star, so two in total, but I advise you to NEVER go there unless you have nothing to lose.
