I checked myself out after getting a dirty room with no heating, noise from the (party)street and the DIRTIEST bedsheets ever. This is not a hotel. There are better hostels for less money. Do not book here. They didn't replace the sheets, should be closed.

I really loved the big shower The bed was really comfortable The only negative side is that you can hear noise from the restaurant across the street till a late hour

This hotel is very interesting to say the least. I will agree with a few previous comments that have been made. Firstly our check in experience was very strange. We were standing there for a few minutes before anyone appeared, then an older women came out she said one moment and then left and someone else came over carrying tools. This women asked for our passports but then proceeded to be fumbling behind the desk with a drill? It was unnecessarily long, strange and quite unprofessional. After checking in and using what can only be described as the strangest elevator we got to our room and the smell of mould truly was something else. Not only the smell in the shower but mould is VERY visible on the tiles, roof and on the wallpaper in the room. Luckily we were only staying 2 nights otherwise I would have considered moving hotels. In line with previous comments the wall paper is peeling, new linens are needed and the whole place could do with a deep clean. It does seem as shame as the hotel has obviously invested time and money into renovating the rooms and making them modern however the service and cleanliness is not up to par. The TV did also not work however this was not a big deal. Something else to note if your room is facing the road that you can see over into other hotel rooms and vice versa. The location was fine for us as we walked everywhere and caught the tram. However, there are a lot of bars and restaurants on the street and can understand how the noise and crowd would bother some. Overall I would not recommend staying here especially with the mould problem.

We stayed here in Rotterdam for just under a week. We had a green room with a window facing the inner courtyard (which is not part of the hotel!) Pro: the location is great! Right next to an S-Bahn station and a metro stop. The central station is within walking distance, as are all the other hotspots in the city centre. There are bars, restaurants and nice breakfast spots right outside the door that offer something for everyone (vegetarian and vegan is more than welcome in Rotterdam!). The room is quite small but very modern and pleasing to the eye. If you like it anonymous or just aren't the extrovert type, you'll have a good chance of fulfilling this here. The staff were always friendly if you had any questions, but if you weren't looking for a direct conversation, you would be greeted and bid farewell. A dream for me :) Cons: There is a restaurant right next to the hotel with ventilation running alongside the building. Accordingly, it smelled of food during the various rush hours, which was not always pleasant. The towels are changed daily, but in our opinion nothing else was done (bed made, vacuuming or wiping surfaces). Of course this is not a must, but was a bit critical after day 5. We had a lot of mosquitoes in the room. The countless stains on the wall indicated a longer-term problem. In the end, I had a good 45 bites, 4 of them on my face and one on my lip. As the bugs remained constant, despite attempts to remove them, the problem must be tackled differently. Conclusion: If you want accommodation right in the centre, this is the place for you! We had no problems sleeping as our room faced the courtyard. In the evening, however, it was noisy due to the countless local bars and I don't want to know what it looks like when the window faces the street. Everything was within walking distance and we also found some nice shops.

Basically the worst place I have ever been for value - maybe even worst overall. First and foremost: there is no heater, nothing. Senondly: in my room, there has been a gap on top of the window I couldn't close. That means, all the noise and coldness came through the window and there was nothing I could do about it. Would not recommend as basic needs can't be satisfied to rest.
